My Story
My name is Saphira Thomson and I'm a 17 year old high school student in Edinburgh, Scotland. My interest in Indigenous Canadians started at a young age when I spent summers camping in the 30,000 Islands region of Georgian Bay, Ontario, a region at the historical epicentre of Indigenous history in Ontario. Over the past few years, I have been volunteering at an Indigenous outreach centre in Parry Sound, Ontario.
